8 Months

Here are just a few quick pictures I took of Katie today at 8 months.

I thought Katie had really bad eczema on her top lip, but it turns out it was some sort of bacterial infection from her soother. So we've been given a real strong antibiotic cream to put on twice a day and were told to try a different style of soother for a while.

Katie rolled over onto her tummy once a week and a half ago... and thats about it. She's so close! But, I guess for now she's content laying on her back.

I'm sure this is just the first post of many to come of these two. I can't even begin to imagine all the fun they're going to have together and all the trouble their older brothers are going to get them in to (or out of when they're older!)

7 Months

Well, this post (as well as the last one) is WELL over due. We haven't set up our computer at our new house yet. We've been waiting until the third level is done - but who knows how much longer that'll take. But, while we were waiting, I've missed Katie's 7 month mark.

Katie is now 7 (and a half) months old. She is eating baby food, taking a bottle (we're working on getting her weaned before our trip in February) and sitting up. She's such a happy little girl! Full of smiles and she loves to babble and coo. Her giggles are very rare - (so far she's only giggled a handful of times - all at Logan while they've been in the tub) but they're so precious. She still doesn't roll at all (although she is so close!) and she still isn't sleeping all the way through the night (she'll go between 4-6 hours).

Christmas 2009

Despite our house being only half way done and still a construction zone, our first Christmas in our new home was excellent! It was also Katie's first Christmas - although she really didn't know what was really going on.

Logan loved decorating the tree.... except all the ornaments had to go on one branch.

Dan, this next picture is for you.... I know how much you LOVE boogers.. I sat Katie infront of the Christmas tree to take her photo and when I snapped the picture I discovered this!

Logan's favorite Christmas presents all had to do with hockey... he got skates, a helmet, hockey gloves, sticks and nets.
