The main purpose for our trip was to take Logan to Disneyland! We left Katie at home because we thought she was much too little to enjoy the rides and understand the concept of waiting in line. Little did we know that maybe we should have left Logan at home too!
First ride of the day - Jungle Cruise. Mom and I thought we'd start of with something slow pace and very tame. Something that at the end of the day, after riding all the other rides, would seem lame.
From the very start Logan wasn't 100% sure if he liked it or not. He didn't understand that the animals weren't real and that we weren't in any real danger.
Then, then I don't know what mom and I were thinking... I think maybe it was our past way of thinking - where we methodically wanted to do the rides in order. So the very next ride we did was next door... Pirates of the Caribbean. NOT a good idea. You remember the ride as a slow boat ride with a lot of pirates singing "Yoho Yoho a Pirate's life for me!" You DON'T remember
all the skeletons, lighting and sinister voices that would TERRIFY a 3 year old.

From that point on we let Logan decide where we were going and what we were going to do. (Well, kind of... if it were up to Logan we would have headed back to the pool to go swimming. But we payed $84 each and thankfully the "pool was closed" for the day. wink wink nudge nudge)
We did manage to convince Logan to go on a train ride before heading straight to fantasy land.... we may have forgot to mention to him that this train was Thunder Mountain.
Despite how worried he might look in the next picture, it actually went pretty well.

But the Mad Hatter's tea cups were more his pace.
And we found Nemo... he liked that... sort of.
He LOVED driving the cars... mommy on the other hand has been on smoother rides!

Then we waited an hour in the BLAZING hot sun to meet Rapunzel and Flynn from Logan's new favorite movie Tangled.
Logan's favorite part of Disney was when we sat down to rest and have something to eat.
He also loved the spray fan grandma bought him to keep cool and distracted in long lines.
And we ended off our Disney rides with what we thought Logan would LOVE, Buzz Lightyear!! However, the giant Zurg at the beginning made him HATE the ride.
So we thought we'd take it easy and sit on the curb and wait for the parade to start... again, in the BLAZING hot sun.
And then the parade started..... and in typical Logan fashion, Logan freaked out.

Oh, Mandee. Hilarious post! I can just imagine being there with you guys, you've described it so well! :)
I guess it was all a little too "real" in Logan's mind. We forget that kids look at the world from a slightly different perspective sometimes.
