"Love is the answer at least for most of the questions in my heart; Why are we here and where do we go and how come it's so hard? It's not always easy and sometimes life can be deceiving. I'll tell you one thing it's always better when we're together!" - Jack Johnson

Magna Doodle
The magna doodle is by far the most popular toy in our house. Both kids just LOVE playing with it. Katie will scribble all over until there isn't any white space left. She'll then erase it and start over again. Katie also love to just sit with it on her lap (so Logan can't have it) and suck on the "pen". (Ya.... I never said this kid was smart.)
The magna doodle provides hours of entertainment, giving me a lot of nice quiet time. However, it also envokes endless amounts of fights and arguements. The magna doodle can sit on the floor and no one will want to play with it, UNTIL the other one picks it up. Then they BOTH want it. And poor Katie usually ends up losing.

Things Logan is Thankful for...
Today's craft was Thanksgiving themed. We were attempting to make Turkey's out of construction paper and jiggly eyes.
This is the one we worked on together... turned out only slightly better than Logan's first attempt.
I asked Logan to name 8 things he was thankful for. I don't know if you can read them, but here were his answers (and I didn't prompt him on ANY of them..)
- My Trampoline
- Hockey Sticks
- Duke
- Hitmen Games
- Dairy Queen
- Daddy
- My blankies
- Grandpa
Note that Katie, Grandma and I didn't make the list. But I bet we were numbers 9, 10 & 11, right Logan?

The Raiders Team 2010
Another great softball season has come to an end. Both Mark and I really enjoyed playing with the Dalhousie Raiders again this season. Our team finished 4th in our division, with a record of 8-7-1. Mark was named the team's MVP for this year, and John B was voted the player with the best sportsmanship.

Retirement

Louis & Niki got married outside at Baker park, down by the Bow River. Logan had to go down what felt like miles of stairs. But he did it! He walked down the entire thing, with just a short break to sit down and wipe the sweat off his forehead.

Third time's the charm as they say. He walked the aisle like a pro and stood up front with the guys like a little man.

And most recently, this past weekend, Logan was the ring bearer for my cousin Chris and his new bride, Robbi-Lynn.
The wedding was in Malakwa BC. Unfortunately it rained all weekend.. including the day of the wedding, which was held OUTSIDE. But, Logan still walked down the aisle, carrying the rings tyed to one of his favorite things, a hockey stick! He stood upfront, sans umbrella, for a long time until we locked eyes and he said "I'm done!". He then came and sat on our laps, and when Chris & Robbi kissed he yelled out "He shoots, he SCORES!"

So four weddings in three years. And thankfully, there was no screaming or crying before, during or after any of them. I think we have a professional in our midst. Unfortunately, I think his days are numbered. All of our family members and close friends (who would ask Logan) are married. It was a good run... but now we move on to bigger and better things... potty training.
