Pest on the Move

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing - Photo Books

Now that Logan has become quite mobile (rolling only... we have yet to master the crawl) he has become quite the little nuisance. He is constantly rolling under the coffee table, into the kitchen, up to the TV (where he either plays with all the buttons on the VCR or opens and closes all the drawers) etc. He loves to get into trouble. It's a little annoying for Mark and I, but overall we love to watch him explore and learn new things.

Poor Duke is the one who suffers the most from Logan's new "skill". Logan is always rolling his way over to Duke to pester him. He loves to pull Duke's fur, wack/kick him or steal his toys away from him. Thankfully Duke is very passive and gentle towards Logan. He just lies there and takes the abuse from this small little boy. Sometimes I think Duke even asks for it by bringing Logan his toys and laying infront of him drooling away. It is really cute to see Duke and Logan interact together. I am sure they are going to be best buds!

Easter Pictures

I thought I would quickly put these pictures from yesterday up so Grandpa and Grandma could see them before they move on away from internet access. We had a good afternoon at Uncle Jeff and Auntie Laura's house. However, it seemed like everyone was getting sick. Robyn was dying and Brett spent most of the afternoon in bed. (Hence no pictures of him.) We missed you Grandpa and Grandma.

The Easter Bunny

Easter Bunny, soft and white
Hopping quickly out of sight,
Thank you for the eggs you bring,
At Easter time we welcome spring,
Easter Bunny, soft and white,
Hopping quickly out of sight.

Bobcat Fun

Mark rented a bobcat this afternoon to get rid of "Mount Duke" (which was previously located in our backyard.) He scooped most of the dirt into the flower boxes and used the rest to level out the backyard. So more progress is being made... but we still have a long way to go. The next step is to get a truck load of loam and sod the backyard, but we'll have to wait until it warms up a bit first. Logan dressed up into his construction/lumberjack outfit and spent the afternoon outside "helping" his daddy and grandpa.

Mr. Personality

Logan is developing quite the personality. He is such a goofy child. He is so smiley, ESPECIALLY when a camera comes out. He loves to pose for pictures already! Logan also loves to babble. He is always chatting away while we're driving in the car. He pretty much loves the sound of his own voice. Lately he has become much more fun and personable. He is forever doing silly things and making funny noises that make Mark and I laugh.

Laundry Day

The one thing I hate with a burning passion is LAUNDRY. I absolutely HATE doing the laundry. I dread laundry day. (Which is maybe why it doesnt get done half as often as it should!!) It probably wouldnt be so bad if somebody didnt wear like four different changes of clothes EVERY day! Alright, so I'm exagerating a little bit... but seriously, Mark does have a lot of clothes. He has 11 pairs of jean alone. 11 pairs of JEANS! That doesnt include his khakis, his cords, his dress pants, sweat pants, board shorts, golf shorts, swim shorts or his suit pants. I dont even want to get into all of his tshirts and sweaters that he wears every week... yowzers! I have 4 pairs of jeans. Thats it. Four. And I'm the girl in the family!! I cant even fathom having 11 pairs of jeans. I think Mark makes more laundry than Logan and I combined... and Logan spits, spills, poops and pees on all his clothes! (Well, not so much anymore.) I'm very tempted to make Mark do his own laundry from now on. Washing, drying and folding laundry takes up an entire day.. from dusk to dawn. The picture below is just HALF of the laundry I did yesterday. (I still have two baskets waiting to be folded!!) Anyone know a good, cheap laundry service???

Phoenix 2008

Mark, Logan and I left last Sunday to go on a little family vacation. However, unlike the title says, we did NOT fly to Phoenix, but instead to Palm Springs. The flights to Phoenix were WAY too full for us to get on flying standby, so instead we flew to Palm Springs, rented a "pimpin" chrysler 300, (as Mark would say) and drove 3.5 hours to Phoenix. We spent the first few days there with the Olmsteads. We went mini golfing, to the driving range, bowling, to the Bass Pro Shop, had a fantastic home cooked meal prepared by Cheri and Tracey, etc etc. It was a lot of fun hanging out with them all again.

We met up with Louis and Niki on Thursday morning and spent the remainder of the trip with them. The boys did two rounds of golf and Niki and I did plenty of shopping. We went to the Flames game vs the Coyotes on Saturday night and went and saw the Mariners play against the Padres in spring training on Sunday. It was a very action packed week.

Over all, besides a very delayed flight home on Monday, we had an awesome time!!
