Yay! A sidewalk!

Grandpa came over this week and did a LOT of work in our backyard. When we bought our house the backyard was a total disaster. It was just a crappy hill, covered in weeds with random bushes/trees every where and no fence. Since moving in, with the help of Grandpa and many others, we have put in a retaining wall, sodded the bottom half, built two decks and put up a new fence. This week Grandpa was busy leveling the top portion of the yard. We leveled it all out and put in a sidewalk. We also ripped down the old fence between us and the neighbor and put up a new one, as well as finish the rail on our side deck. The flower beds are now ready for plants (so if anyone has any perennials they need/want to spilt in the spring/trees/shrubs to give away and donate to our sad little yard.... hint hint) I still have a LOT of weeding to do and the back deck needs a rail still. But slowly and surely it is coming along, mainly thanks to all of Grandpa's hard work!!
Grandpa, we would be lost without you. Thank you for all the hard, back/leg breaking work you've done for us/our home. I love you so much!

3 Months

Katie is three months old today!! As it was with Logan, life at three months is sooooo much easier! Katie is no longer our little screamer. She is a very happy, content baby. She likes to sit her vibrating chair or high chair and just look around. She has a pretty routine sleep/eat schedule so its easy to predict when she'll be fussy. I am VERY happy with her new nightly sleep routine. I'll feed her at 7pm, put her down to sleep around 8pm. She'll then sleep until about 5am, when we'll get up to feed and then go back to sleep until about 8am when Logan wakes up.
